I’ve been a longtime customer and have always loved their cakes. Their cakes taste just like the ones I grew up eating in the DR.
When I moved from New York to Florida during the pandemic, I missed their cakes so much. Every time I came back to NY to visit, I had to get one. I kept telling them they needed to start shipping, so I was so happy when they finally did!
I recently moved back to New York, and not only do I still order their cakes for me, but also to have them shipped to my sons, who are away at college in different states, as well as other family members.
The quality has always been consistent, the cakes are delicious and beautifully packaged, and the customer service is great. I’ve ordered more cakes from them over the years than I can count. My whole family loves their cakes! 10/10!!!

Simply delicious! The taste, texture and marshmallowy frosting are authentically Dominican! The entire experience took me back to birthday parties in Santo Domingo when I visited as a child. One suggestion: ice packs and styrofoam packaging around the tin. In particular for shipments heading to South Florida. It may help retain the shape of the frosting and keep it from spilling outside of the tin which happened in my case. Still giving it 5 stars for originality, product quality and taste!

I ordered this cake for my Dominican husband. He said this cake brought him back to his childhood in DR. Everything was great from the order process to delivery. Most importantly absolutely delicious cake. 10/10 would recommend

The cake was absolutely delicious! It arrived fresh, well packaged, and in great condition. The Dominican cake had the perfect texture and flavor, and the dulce de leche filling was amazing sweet and creamy without being too much. I was also very impressed with the shipping. I would definitely order again and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Dominican cake!

I bought it for my daughter that was craving for Dominican Cake, and sure enough this cake was the one. She said it was delicious, and the suspiro was perfect. The communication was excellent. Fast email response when I had a confusing. I give The Cake Studio NY a 110%

Me encantaron!! Deliciosos! Real bizcocho dominicano, masa suave, esponjosa y suspiro en su punto.

The cake wasn’t for me. It was a gift for family in another state from me so I didn’t get to taste it. But they absolutely loved it! Their words after tasting it were “yup, it’s Dominican”. Can’t wait to order for myself.
