I loved that the cake came in a tin can—such a great idea! It’s definitely expensive, but the cake was delicious and tasted like a true Dominican cake.
My mom is a tough critic, and at first she wasn’t convinced. The frosting was melting and seemed a little sunken, which affected the presentation. But she’s been having a piece every morning since! Even my husband, who isn’t usually into sweets, has had three servings—and that says a lot.
Overall, we really enjoyed it. It was sweet, though I’ve had sweeter Dominican cakes. You’re doing a great job!

Simply delicious! The taste, texture and marshmallowy frosting are authentically Dominican! The entire experience took me back to birthday parties in Santo Domingo when I visited as a child. One suggestion: ice packs and styrofoam packaging around the tin. In particular for shipments heading to South Florida. It may help retain the shape of the frosting and keep it from spilling outside of the tin which happened in my case. Still giving it 5 stars for originality, product quality and taste!
I ordered this cake for my Dominican husband. He said this cake brought him back to his childhood in DR. Everything was great from the order process to delivery. Most importantly absolutely delicious cake. 10/10 would recommend

I’ve been a longtime customer and have always loved their cakes. Their cakes taste just like the ones I grew up eating in the DR.
When I moved from New York to Florida during the pandemic, I missed their cakes so much. Every time I came back to NY to visit, I had to get one. I kept telling them they needed to start shipping, so I was so happy when they finally did!
I recently moved back to New York, but I still order their cakes to have them shipped to my sons, who are away at college in different states, as well as other family members.
The quality has always been consistent, the cakes are delicious and beautifully packaged, and the customer service is great. I’ve ordered more cakes from them over the years than I can count. My whole family loves their cakes! 10/10!!!
The cake was absolutely delicious! It arrived fresh, well packaged, and in great condition. The Dominican cake had the perfect texture and flavor, and the dulce de leche filling was amazing sweet and creamy without being too much. I was also very impressed with the shipping. I would definitely order again and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Dominican cake!

The cake wasn’t for me. It was a gift for family in another state from me so I didn’t get to taste it. But they absolutely loved it! Their words after tasting it were “yup, it’s Dominican”. Can’t wait to order for myself.
Absolutely amazing cake! The fact that it’s so fresh and delicious after being delivered from NY to NC is so impressive. They really take time in perfecting every detail. Not only does it taste AMAZING, the presentation is 10/10!

Un bizcocho perfectamente envuelto y fresco,cuando lo habro, el olor me trae devuelta a mi niñes,cuando en las bodas y cumpleaños de las familias repartían ese bizcocho dominicano. Tiene el sabor auténtico del real bizcocho dominicano. Estoy tan contenta de saber, que cada vez que se me antoje uno, existe esta repostería.No puedo dejar de mencionar ,que el profesionalismo de ellos es fenomenal, la comunicación es inmediata. During my pregnancy, all I was thinking about was having some Dominican cake, but unfortunately it’s very hard to find a place that pleases all my wishes. UNTIL, I found the CAKE STUDIO!! Omg!! I am so so happy. The suspiro seems as it came straight from my Dominican campo business. The smell brings me back to all the cakes I have had only in DR.

I live in Las Vegas and unfortunately we don’t have Dominican Bakeries here. I ordered the small guava cake and it was so delicious! The suspiro was so good!
This hit the spot! Craving a bit of home while living in New Orleans and this cake was perfect. The packaging arrived safely and easy for storing it in the fridge. We love it and will definitely be ordering for the holidays!
